Mykola Tomenko: Ukrainians consider Words and Inner Sense to be more Important than Form
Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine congratulates all the Ukrainian citizens on St. Valentine´s Day.
On the eve of the holiday, on Saturday, the Deputy Chairman presented his book "Theory of Ukrainian Love" in a book club "Chytai-Horod" (Shopping center Dream Town, Kyiv city).
According to M. Tomenko, the concepts of love and admiration are situated deep in the conscious and traditions of Ukrainians, the special attention in Ukraine is paid to words first of all, the majority of Ukrainian songs are dedicated to love, the rest dedicated to history. "Content and ideology for Ukraine have always been of great importance. Ukrainians consider words and inner sense to be more important than form", - he emphasized.
The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that the most important in life is an ability of people to read and write, reflect and express one´s thoughts. According to his words, the letters used to be the most important means of information sending, depending from their character even the special paper was chosen. "Today the relations lacks content, ideas. It is important not to be afraid to express ones´ feelings", - M. Tomenko stressed.
The Deputy Chairman announced that the third one, renewed version of the book is already prepared. It contains the expressions of Ukrainian and foreign writers and poets concerning love and admiration. "This book is a special present for young people as the sense of a word, looks and feelings are more important than presents. It is necessary to return the tradition of the romantic relations, so I call everyone to be more romantic!" - M. Tomenko emphasized.
